Nisan Biçer is a jazz vocalist based in Hamburg. She began her journey in Istanbul, training with esteemed educators, and spent the last three years working with Randy Esen while performing with various ensembles. Her international experience includes studies at the New York Jazz Academy and the Siena Jazz Workshop, where she had the opportunity to work with world-renowned musicians such as Micheal Mayo, Becca Stevens, Theo Bleckmann and Gerald Clayton.

As one of the founding members of the Istanbul West Side Collective, Nisan won the Young Jazz+ competition and performed at prestigious events such as the Istanbul Jazz Festival and the Akra Jazz Festival.

For the past two years, she has performed with her ensemble at several renowned jazz clubs and venues in Istanbul. Primarily a mechanical engineering graduate from Koç University, with two years of work experience in various roles at the strategic design and innovation consultancy ATÖLYE, she began studying Jazz Vocals at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in October 2024, driven by a desire to deepen her musical knowledge.

Now based in Hamburg, Nisan is available for performances and collaborations. With several years of stage experience in Istanbul, she is eager to share her unique sound and contribute to Hamburg’s vibrant music scene.
